Christmas is
coming here in Turku! There was a lighting ceremony at the end of November
whereby the Christmas lights were turned on! There has been a Christmas market
setup in the older part of town and also in the centre of Kauppatori. At the Christmas
market, you can meet Santa and his elves, see fire shows and of course my
favourite, indulge in the local food and drinks! There are local handcrafts for
sale and you can buy handmade wool socks, typical Finnish wood utensils for the
kitchens, knives and there are blacksmiths creating metalwork there and then. For more information follow the link below:
