Lunch Buffets in Finland

Like all Nordic countries, Finland can be an expensive place to live and travel to. There are ways to minimise how much you spend though or to get the most for your money, an example is finding a lunch buffet. Around the town you will likely see signs that say 'lounasbuffet' which means lunch buffet in Finnish. Usually certain restaurants offer an all-you-can-eat lunch buffet for 10 euros, which includes drinks and food. A sandwich can be around 7 euros, it is therefore a good deal.

Fontana cafe in Turku is one place I can recommend. Also there is a place called 'Honkipirtti' in Ruissalo, which offers all you can eat meatballs and potatoes with a Finnish pancake dessert afterwards for 10.90!
